Counselling for Depression in London
In counselling for depression, we would look at negative messages you may be giving to yourself that could be fostering feelings of low self-esteem or low confidence. We examine contemporary or residual unexplored emotional issues that may be creating anger, distress and, ultimately, depression.
There are many reasons why you may be feeling depressed. It could be a reaction to difficult or painful circumstances, low self-esteem and low confidence, unexpressed anger, not being listened to or seen for who you are. These are just a few.
It is my belief that lack of action is a major feature of depression. Movement in depression is generally more contained and less expansive than when we feel happy. Taking action to do something about it is the first step to healing.
